Celebrating 30 years with a Facelift: How Boss is Forging its Future
Boss Polymer Technologies Group is a name synonymous with ingenuity. Boss have been at the forefront of Australia’s leading plastic and rubber technology. Now in their thirtieth year of operation, the Boss team have bold plans to reimagine the way they do business. Setting them up for the future.
“Our evolution from a rubber and plastics component manufacturer to a solutions provider has resulted in a significant step forward for the group. Now we take another step”. said Paul Kremer, CEO of Boss Polymer Technology Group
Kremer went on to say, “During the last quarter of 2020, the team at Boss worked diligently to collectively capture the essence of ‘who we are’, ‘what we stand for’ and ‘why we do, what we do’”
To mark this new era for the organisation, the marketing team has decided to give the Group a facelift, starting with a new logo and icon for the division.
“The rebranding exercise is driving a different look, streamlining the many markets and solutions offerings underneath a single, unified ‘group identity’.” said Head of Marketing, Madelyn Mills.
The Boss Group includes four subsidiary companies, Boss Rubber and Plastics, Boss Solar, Boss Marine and Boss Innovation Hub. All logos share a similar font and design aesthetic. However, each logo has a unique element, with meaning specific to that company.
“For example, the ‘O’ in the group level Boss logo is made of a chain-like circle. This represents togetherness, not only as a series of brands, but also of its people, customers, suppliers and the wider community” said Ms Mills.
The new logos were launched in late January 2021. The team at Boss look forward to embracing the changes and seeing what 2021 has to bring.
